TARGA TASMANIA FAMILY CHALLENGE – Day 7

We slept in a beautiful Loft room at the Henry Jones Art Hotel last night. It was lovely to have a buffet breakfast followed by a guided tour of this magnificent Hotel with it’s amazing local works of art adorning the walls.
We said gooodbye to Andy and were on our way to Nutpatch, handmade fine chocolate and confectionary, that came highly recommended. Well we weren’t dissappointed the flavours were amazing and we left with a goodies bag of fine chocolates and nougat.
Next was Mt Wellington. When we stepped out of the campervan we were hit with an arctic blast, it was freezing, luckily we packed ski jackets, beanies and gloves. The kids felt like they were on top of the world.
We drove from Hobart to Launceston in the afternoon again through ever changing weather and scenery. We are all feeling a little sad that your adventure is drawing to an end and have already begun planning the next adventure.
