BOOK REVIEW – Make Your Own Toy Sheep
This is week 13 of our Sew Soft Toys 17 week book review. Mimi the sheep is our feature animal this weeek. She will be donated to Crafters for Charity, along with the other lovely animals.
Here is how they were made…

The more I make from this fabulous book the more I love these animals.
I began by reducing the pattern to 65% of the size of the pattern from pages 35. I used undyed wool felt for Mimi. There are five pieces forthis pattern. I used blanket stitch and followed the instructions for sewing the pieces together. Once I had finished stuffing her I sewed a few stitches for each eye.
Voila! Mimi is nice and simple to make and she would be a lovely addition to any farm set.
All up it took me 1 hour to make Mimi.
Stay tuned for next weeks animal review…
