BOOK REVIEW- Make your own toy GIraffe
Sorry it has taken me so long to make this lovely animal, Twigi the Giraffe. I have been hunting for the right fabric and I found it yesterday so this is the last of the 17 week review of the Sew Soft Toys book. She is on page 61 and will be donated to Crafters 4 Charity, along with the other lovely animals.
Here is how she was made…

This time I used the pattern at the size it is in the book and I used giraffe printed flanelette I found yesterday. There are six pieces for this pattern. I used my sewing machine and followed the instructions for sewing the pieces together. Once I had finished stuffing Twigi I twisted a piece of wool and tied a knot in the end then I attached it to the body with a few stitches as the tail and followed the donkey instructions to make the mane.
Voila! Twigi is very cute and I have extra fabric to make some more.
All up it took me 1 hour to make Twigi.
